The Next Few Days

We are nearing the end of a few projects on the Strong/Davis team and I thought a quick update would be appropriate.

On Friday, 12/14: Students will be performing the songs they have composed about cell biology in the Main Commons. They will also be handing in the final drafts of their vignettes for Mr. Strong's class. No late work will be accepted for either class and students are expected to come to school on Friday with their work already completed.

Next Week: POL's begin next Monday and students should be practicing their presentations at home. *A change this year is that all students will be required to use their digital portfolios to navigate their presentations. We will also be having a holiday party on Thursday 12/20. I will be sending home a letter about the potluck and its details.

Vignettes

This Friday, 12/15, students will be handing in 4 of their vignettes for grading. These short writing pieces will be used to compile a published book of student writing. The vignettes are an intensive project that covers personal narrative, descriptive writing and storytelling.

This is where I will be posting any updates for my classes. Posts will include any homework, upcoming events, attachments of class handouts, and reminders for project due dates. Please check-in frequently to make sure you know what is going on.
